Hiten Tejwani, who was last seen in Tandav with Saif Ali Khan, recently announced his new Bollywood film. The actor will be starring in the movie Ardh, which marks the Bollywood debut of Rubina Dilaik. The TV actress is best known for her show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Hiten and Rubina are both popular TV actors and can bring a lot more to the table. Fans of both the stars are excited to see their reunion. For the unaware, Hiten has worked with Rubina in Chhoti Bahu.
13 years later, they will be seen in Ardh, which has been directed by Palaash Muchhal. Sharing the first poster of their film on Instagram, Hiten recently penned, “@palash_muchhal ・・・ ARDH #hitentejwani #gpradhan #gratitude #love” While there’s time for the film to release, Times Now Digital recently did an interview with Hiten about his film.
During a conversation with us, Hiten revealed why he decided to do this project, about his reunion with Chhoti Bahu co-star Rubina, and more. Opening up about reuniting with the Bigg Boss 14 winner, Hiten told us, “After Chhoti Bahu, we will be working again. It would be great to work with her again. Because over a period of time, everyone has got those many years of experience. And she has been a part of that lovely show Shakti and of course, she is the winner of Bigg Boss 14. It will be lovely working with her again.”
Other than that, the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actor stated that talks were going for the show’s second season and the cast was even asked if they were ready to come on board for it. While some of them were ready to do the second part of Ekta Kapoor’s show, there is currently no update about season 2. The actor added it would be good if Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi returns to the small screen with a new season.
On the personal front, Hiten has been married to his Kutumb co-star Gauri Pradhan for nearly 17 years now. The couple is blessed with lovely children – Neevan Tejwani and Katya Tejwani.
