Scroll through Zaid Darbar and Gauhar Khan’s social media feeds and you will get to know that they are madly and deeply in love. Last year, the couple left one and all delighted when they went public with their ‘lockdown love story’ and announced that they have decided to get married.
The two tied the knot in December last year, and many photos and videos from their fairytale wedding still take over the web time-to-time. But did you know Zaid had put one condition before sealing the deal with Gauahar? He had even said that he would call off the wedding if the actress won’t comply with one particular wish of his. Gauahar has spilled the beans about the same herself.
Gauahar recently went on to reveal that Zaid had told her that he “can put up with everything”, but if she didn’t wear mehendi, he would call off the wedding.
During Coffee Time with Griha, the actress said, “Zaid told me I can put up with everything, your work schedule everything, but if you don’t wear mehendi on your wedding, then call this quits.”
In another interview, Gauahar shared that in her recently released movie, 14 Phere, she can be seen sporting her own wedding mehendi.
Interestingly, while Zaid and Gauahar have turned Instagram into a mush fest, they only got to go on their honeymoon recently, six months after they tied the knot. The couple had shared many lovely photos from their vacation in Moscow, Russia on the gram.
Meanwhile, both Zaid and Gauahar leave no chance to shower their better half with love by sharing appreciation posts on social media.
One of Gauahar’s sweet notes for her hubby reads, “Alhamdulillah. It’s been exactly a year from the day zaid spotted me . Heheh . The best gift Allah has given me . Allah humma baarik lahu . Thank u jaanu for spotting me . Hahahaha . @zaid_darbar u are my MAN ! #MaShaAllah”
Zaid, who is Bollywood music composer Ismail Darbar’s son, makes sure to celebrate all of Gauahar’s achievements. Earlier this month, he took to Instagram and wrote, “My baby hits 5 million! She has always entertained us and brought a smile on all our faces with whatever she does! Proud of you Jaanu Challo jaldi Comment below and congratulate her.” How sweet in that?
