Television and film actor Eijaz Khan, who has established himself as a force to reckon with, has a message for fans who are eagerly waiting for his and Pavitra Punia’s marriage announcement. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant, in an exclusive interview with Times Now Digital, opens up about his relationship with Pavitra, who he met in the Salman Khan-hosted reality-based television show.
The actor, gushing about his partner, calls her the most amazing person. He shares that they are still getting to know each other, and respect each other’s individuality and differences. When asked about the several fan comments who keep asking him about his and Pavitra’s marriage plans, the actor shares that they can only be authentic to themselves, and that’s what they try to portray on social media. But the relationship is just a part of their life, and both Eijaz and Pavitra have several things happening on the work front for them, adds Eijaz.
“As I said, we can’t react to everything nor can we ignore everything. But what we can do is be authentic to ourselves and that’s what we are being,” he says, adding, “Whatever you see is the truth. But sometimes, you just see one aspect and you don’t see the well-rounded mature aspect that we have individually in this relationship. Sometimes you just see us goofing around and sometimes you just see that…”
When he got out of Bigg Boss 14, the actor shares that the only thing that was highlighted about his life was love and relationship. But there are a million other aspects to him and Pavitra. “There are verticals that she’s been working on and some verticals and I’ve been working on. I am just about to sign on the dotted line with an app, which is amazing,” he says.
The actor further states, “There are so many things that we are working on, but only one aspect of our life people is shown. So fans think – Arre yehi chal raha hai inki life mein, chalo shaadi karo shaadi karo. But there are a lot of beautiful things going on. Good things happen to those who wait, so wait and watch.”
The actor is currently awaiting the release of his much-anticipated show, City of Dreams Season 2. Set to stream on Disney+Hotstar, the series will see Eijaz returning to the role of Wasim Khan. Opening up about the toughest part this season, Eijaz says it was to get into the character. Explaining why, the actor says, “Because I built the character in my head so much – I want to do this, I am going to do that. And then if I wouldn’t hit a certain note, I would feel very bad. My whole unit knows that if I haven’t cracked the scene the way I wanted to do or I didn’t hear cut the way Nagesh sir says when he is happy, then it affects meet for 2-3 days,” he shares, days ahead of the show’s premiere.
