The official Twitter account of All India Majils-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) was ‘hacked’ on Sunday.

This is the second time in a month that the Twitter account of Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM was hacked.

The same account was hacked nine days ago but was restored later, party sources said here.

The profile name of the handle was changed from AIMIM to Tesla CEO ‘Elon Musk’. The profile picture was changed with the photo of the business.

However, no tweets were posted on the AIMIM’s Twitter handle that has about 6.78 lakh followers.

“Nine days ago also theTwitter accountof AIMIM was hacked but we communicated to Twitter and the account was restored.Now again the account has been hacked,” a spokesperson of the Hyderabad headquartered party said.

He further said that they will file a complaint with the Hyderabad police on Monday.
