Unlock likely to see more demand in commercial leasing, says Sahil Vachani

Sahil Vachani, MD, Max Ventures and Industries Ltd in an ET NOW exclusive gave us an insight into company’s Real estate play in Delhi NCR, key trends post second wave and Value unlocking in the company. “ I believe we are at the right place at right time aspiring to be leader in Commercial and Residential in NCR space” says Sahil Vachani. The company targets to develop 500K to 1mn sq ft of commercial realty annually. The company has been able to showcase good execution performance coupled with product quality. Max did more commercial leasing in 2020 than 2019. It has partnered with NY Life insurance co to build platform level partnership. After analyzing current market dynamics, he believes market is right for disruption in the commercial office space post unlock. Unlock likely to see more demand in commercial leasing. He sees next leg of growth coming from commercial leasing.

Sahil Vachani further talks about the road ahead for their specialty films business and potential shareholder value unlocking moves in future. Packaging Business has been part of the group since three decades now and its continues to do well says Sahil Vachani. It is a stable business driven by FMCG.
