Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who keeps treating fans to unique posts on social media, shared a hilarious video with husband Ranveer Singh to ring in his birthday on July 6. The duo can be seen dancing to Yashraj Mukhate’s rap Tuada Kutta Tommy, which he made on Shehnaaz Gill. While the couple received a lot of love from fans, Yashraj loyalists were, however, unhappy that the actress had not credited the man behind the popular rap.
In the video, DeepVeer can be seen enjoying themselves as they goofily move to the tunes of the song. While Ranveer can be seen sporting an all-white ensemble in the video, Deepika can be seen sporting a pastel green top. At a point, Deepika can even be seen on her fours while mouthing the lyrics.
Deepika captioned the post, “But since it’s your Birthday, Il make peace with the fact that Twada Kutta is Tommy and Sadda Kutta is Kutta… Happy Happy Birthday My Most Favourite Person! @ranveersingh”
And while, even Yashraj seemed elated that they selected his song for the special birthday post, “BAAAAAAAAAP!!!!! DIN BAN GYA!!!!!!!!,” along with several fire emoji, SOme of his fans were not that happy, instead demanding that the artist be given his due credit.
While one wrote, “@yashrajmukhate she could have given audio credits to you atleast,” another posted, “@yashrajmukhate bhai wo reply nai krenge.”
“@yashrajmukhate she could have tagged u,” commented a third to the post.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Ranveer’s birthday, filmmaker Karan Johar announced that he is returning to the director’s chair with the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, that is being headlined by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy.
