Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starring Beast will resume shoot in Chennai. The movie team was waiting for the COVID restrictions to be lifted, and now it seems the team has resumed shoot.
Vijay’s 65th film that was tentatively titled Thalapthy65 is now officially titled Beast. The movie team announced this by releasing a first look poster on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday.
The team put a halt to shoot in May as the COVID second wave was having an exponential growth, causing the number of death cases to increase across various states in India. As per the latest update, the movie team is now set to resume shoot in Chennai.
Beast team completed their first schedule of shoot in Georgia and came back to India for their second schedule. As per reports, the team was planning to build a huge shopping mall kind of a set in the outskirts of Chennai, to shoot an action block.
While the work was progressing in full swing, our government imposed restrictions on film shoots. Vijay requested the producers to stop the set works and send the workers back home, considering their safety.
Now the restrictions are slowly removed, and the team is all set to start their shoot with a song. Actress Pooja Hegde, who was not a part of the first schedule, has reached Chennai to take part in the film.
As per the reports in TOI, Vijay is reportedly playing the role of a con agent, and his character in the film will be an intense one. Since the release of the Thalapthy65 title look poster, guesses were made on social media that the film will involve a lot of guns.
The release of the first look poster and second look poster of Vijay holding a pistol and shotgun proves that there will be a lot of guns involved in the film.
Director Nelson Dilipkumar is directing the film, who also directed a film like Kolamavu Kokila. Actor Yogi Babu is playing a role in this film, so the is no doubt that the film will be a laughter riot on another side.
