Gearing up for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was all smiles as the batting maestro shared a photo with teammates Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill on Wednesday.  Kohli, who will leave no stone unturned to propel Team India to their maiden ICC trophy since 2013 was pleased to see the sun shining bright at the Ageas Bowl – the venue for the Test Championship showdown between India and Kane Williamson-led New Zealand in Southampton, England.

Making the most of the exotic weather on Wednesday, Kohli shared another photo from the Ageas Bowl to lift the mood of the Team India fans as the supporters of Men In Blue are eagerly waiting for the summit clash against the Black Caps. Kohli roped in premier batsmen Pujara and Gill for one of his latest social media uploads. “The sun brings out smiles @shubmangill @cheteshwar_pujara,” Kohli captioned his photo on Instagram.

Kohli’s latest social media activity soon became the talk of the town on the internet. Afghanistan spinner and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Rashid Khan was one of the first cricketers to leave a comment on Kohli’s photo. Dubbed as one of the best batsmen across all formats in the modern era of the gentlemen’s game, Team India skipper Kohli is also the most followed cricketer on Instagram. Kohli’s recent photo has already garnered over a million likes on the Facebook-owned platform.

Each and every member of the Indian contingent underwent three-day mandatory hard quarantine after arriving in Southampton on June 3 prior to the final of the Test Championship. Team India players were tested again for COVID-19 at the Hampshire Bowl. The Kohli-led Team India side will lock horns with Kane Williamson’s New Zealand in the summit clash at the Ageas Bowl from June 16.
