It was in 2017 when the news of Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma’s rumoured spat on a flight surfaced on the internet. The alleged incident was talked about a lot on the internet. But it was never officially confirmed as to what transpired between the ace comedians. Following his reported fallout with Kapil, Sunil left The Kapil Sharma Show. Thereafter, Kapil took to his Twitter handle apologised to Sunil if he hurt him unintentionally. In response to his apology, Sunil told the comedian that he had hurt him deeply, however, he wished him success.
Cut to now, Sunil and Kapil seem to share cordial equation with each other. On special occasions like their birthdays, they never fail to shower each other with sweet birthday messages. And that’s when fans respond to the comedians and ask if they are reuniting for any project. After their alleged fallout, they have not collaborated yet on any project.
Since fans are still eager to know if Sunil and Kapil will come back together for a project, Times Now Digital asked the Bharat actor about the same. In an exclusive interview with us, Sunil spoke about if there is a possibility of him reuniting with Kapil.
And to this, Sunil said, “There is no planning as such to get back together soon. But yes, in near future, there’s no plan as such. But if circumstances, if a project comes where we can be together, let’s hope. (But) there’s no plan as such.”
Earlier, in a long note to Kapil, Sunil had mentioned, “Bha ji! Yes, You hurt me deeply. Working with you has been a learning experience. Just one advice start respecting human beings also apart from animals. All are not as successful as you are. All are not as talented as you are. But if they all are talented like you, who will value you. So, have some gratitude towards their existence. And also, If someone is correcting you, don’t abuse that person. Refrain from using foul language In front of women who had nothing to do with the stardom you carry, they are by chance just travelling with you.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunil will be next seen in a web series, Sunflower, that releases on June 11, 2021. The actor stars alongside Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chadda, Ashish Vidyarthi, Girish Kulkarni, Saloni Khanna Patel and others.
