Now, talking about his personal front, the first thing that everyone notices is the luxurious and comfy home that Big B lives in with his family that includes his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
From Jalsa to Pratiksha, Big B has an array of expensive houses in Mumbai and recently, he added another property to his list. The actor has reportedly bought a duplex in Mumbai that is worth Rs 31 crore. The duplex apartment is spread over 5,184 sq ft in an under-construction project Atlantis in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb.
As per The Economic Times, Big B’s new house has been developed by realtor Crystal Pride Developers and has bought this apartment on the 27th and 28th floor. The property will also provide him access to six mechanised car parks, showed a document accessed by Zapkey.com. The deal was finalised in December 2020 and was been concluded in April. Other Bollywood personalities including Sunny Leone and director Aanand L. Rai have also bought apartments in the same project.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently one of the busiest stars in the film industry. He will be soon seen in Emraan Hashmi’s Chehre. The film has been directed by Rumi Jafry with production by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. Earlier is was slated to release in 2020 but the release date was pushed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As of now, the release date hasn’t been picked yet.
Apart from this, he also has Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund in his kitty. He has also completed the shoot of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmāstra. It written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. The film will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy and is quite awaited.
Meanwhile, the actor will also jump back into the host mode for Kaun Banega Crorepati.
