Actor Ajith has yet again made the headlines by donating Rs.10 Lakhs for the welfare of FEFSI members amidst this pandemic situation. Coronavirus is spreading faster than before in this second wave. Many states have opted to go under complete lockdown while others have imposed stricter restrictions.

The entertainment fraternity has been donating and raising funds for the cause. And as a part of helping workers to survive in this pandemic, actor Ajithkumar has donated Rs.10 Lakh to the FEFSI organization.

FEFSI is the abbreviation of  Film Employees Federation of South India. It is an organization that consists of all the technicians of Tamil cinema. It holds around 25,000 members. The money donated to this organization will be spent on its member’s welfare.

After the news came out that Ajithkumar has donated Rs.10 Lakh, many fans and celebrities started appreciating the actor’s generosity

Previously, the actor had donated Rs.25 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Relief Fund for the battle against Coronavirus. First, the news came out that he donated 2.5 crores which were later corrected by his manager Suresh Chandra that the actor donated Rs.25 Lakh. He shared a newsletter on his official Twitter page and wrote, “Shri Ajithkumar had donated twenty-five lakhs to the Chief Minister relief fund today via bank transfer.”

Tamil Nadu Chief Minster Stalin urged all the people of Tamil Nadu to lend a helping hand by donating to CM General Relief Fund. Many actors and directors of Tamil cinema came forward to contribute to CM relief funds.  Actors Suriya, Karthi, Sivakumar, director  A R Murugadoss and many others met the Chief Minister personally and donated.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, met the Chief Minister and made her contribution of Rs 1 crore to the CMPRF on behalf of her husband Vishagan Vanagamudi’s pharmaceutical company.

Coming back to actor Ajith, he had previously donated for many relief operations. Even last year he donated Rs 50 lakh to the PM-Cares fun, Rs 50 lakh to the CM relief fund, and Rs 25 lakh to the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI).

On the work front, Ajith Kumar is busy with his upcoming project Valimai, a much-awaited flick. Fans keep asking for an update from the movie team often, but as per the latest reports, Ajith has instructed the team not to reveal anything until the pandemic situation gets back to normal.
