‘You are suffering from a different disease’ – Hanuma Vihari shuts down troll over ‘masala dosa le aao’ tweet

Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari likes to stay away from the limelight and is rarely active on social media. However, these days Vihari has been quite active on Twitter and has been helping people in dealing with the second wave of COVID-19. Vihari has been using his official handle to raise funds for the needy and amplify tweets seeking help for COVID-19 patients.

While he has been working for the people during these testing times, Vihari continues to get targetted by trolls. In one such incident, a troll tried to mock the India batsman for helping COVID-19 patients with free meals. The troll asked Vihari to get him 2 masala dosas and coconut chutney.

The Indian cricketer was quick to respond and shut down the troll with a fitting reply. “I would if you’re suffering like many people in India are right now. Oh, wait a minute you’re actually suffering from a different disease. I’m Sorry!” Vihari wrote taking a swipe at the troll. The troll has now deleted his tweet after Vihari’s response.

Vihari will be making his comeback in the Indian Test side after recovering from his injury. He had missed the final Test against Australia due to injury and had returned home. Vihari subsequently also missed the England series at home but will be making his return for the upcoming World Test Championship (WCT) final against New Zealand followed by the Test series against England

Vihari was recently seen in action in the county championship in England where he turned up for Warwickshire this season. The right-hander didn’t enjoy a great campaign as he could muster only 100 runs in six innings including a half-century to his name. However, the experience of playing in England will come in handy for him when he plays in the Test series against Joe Root & Co
