This news has come as a complete shocker! A majority of Shilpa Shetty’s family members have tested positive for COVID-19. The actress recently took to Instagram and revealed that her one-year-old daughter Samisha, 8-year-old son Viaan-Raj, husband Raj Kundra have been infected with the coronavirus. Not just them, Shilpa mentioned that her mother and parents-in-law have contracted COVID-19. And while her coronavirus report is negative, Shilpa added that two of her in-house staff members are also COVID-19 positive.

Revealing how the last 10 days have been difficult for her and her family, Shilpa wrote, “The last 10 days have been difficult for us as a family. My parents-in-law tested positive for COVID-19, followed by Samisha, Viaan-Raj, my mom, and lastly, Raj. They’ve all been in isolation in their rooms at home as per the official guidelines and have been following the doctor’s advice. Two of our in-house staff members have also tested positive and they are being treated at a medical facility. By God’s grace, everyone is on the road to recovery. My tests came back negative.”

In her long note on social media, the actress mentioned that all safety measures have been followed as per protocol and her family is grateful to the BMC and authorities for their prompt help and response. The actress thanked everyone for their love and support. On a concluding note, the actress requested people to follow all COVID-19 protocols. 

“Please continue to keep all of us in your prayers. Please mask up, sanitise, stay safe, ad whether COVID positive or not…STILL stay POSITIVE, MENTALLY,” she wrote.

As Shilpa shared the post, celebrities started pouring in messages for her family’s speedy recovery from coronavirus. Madhuri Dixit Nene took to the comment section and wrote, “Get well soon.” On the other hand, Shilpa’s Dhadkan co-star Suniel Shetty wrote, “Take care … praying for Everyone’s speedy recovery.”
