Donald Trump gives big warning to Iran amid peace talks, says no deal without…

US President Donald Trump has said that international nuclear inspectors will be allowed into Iran under the proposed US-Iran peace agreement, rejecting claims from Tehran that no such arrangement had been accepted.

Speaking publicly, Trump dismissed statements from Iranian officials questioning the inspection provisions and insisted that Tehran was aware of the terms being discussed as part of the proposed agreement aimed at bringing long-term peace to the conflict-hit West Asia region. “They’re wrong. They know they’re wrong and if they were right, I’d cancel the meetings right now,” Trump said, referring to reports and statements from the Iranian side questioning inspection commitments.

IAEA Inspectors to Be Granted Access

Trump also stated that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would eventually be allowed access to Iran under the agreement. “They’ll be on the ground at the appropriate time,” he said.

His remarks suggest that the United States considers international monitoring a key part of any future agreement with Tehran.

Disagreement Continues Over Verification Measures

The comments come amid an ongoing disagreement between Washington and Tehran over nuclear monitoring and verification. In recent days, US officials have indicated that inspections would be a central part of any agreement designed to limit Iran’s nuclear activities. However, Iranian officials have publicly challenged suggestions that they had agreed to broad international access.

The issue of inspections remains one of the most sensitive aspects of US-Iran relations and has often been a major point of dispute during past nuclear negotiations.

Inspections Seen as Essential by Washington

Trump’s latest remarks indicate that his administration views inspections as a non-negotiable element of any future understanding with Iran.

The US believes that verification measures are necessary to ensure that any diplomatic agreement results in enforceable commitments and transparency regarding Iran’s nuclear programme.

Talks Continue on Broader Nuclear Framework

The comments come as negotiations continue over a wider framework intended to reduce tensions between the two countries and establish long-term arrangements concerning Iran’s nuclear programme.

While discussions are ongoing, differences remain over the extent of international oversight and how any future agreement would be implemented.
