At least three young Baloch men were allegedly abducted by the Pakistani army in separate incidents, sparking fear of Islamabad’s long-standing human rights crisis across the province. Amid growing numbers of forced vanishings, Paank, the Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department, on Thursday reported that Sana Ullah, a resident of Kech district, was forcibly taken by Pakistani security forces. He was abducted from the Talaar checkpoint in the Turbat area of the province.

Fear Grips Balochistan As Pakistan Wreaks Havoc

The rights body mentioned that on November 16, two other Baloch civilians from Kech district, identified as Mulma and Abid Baloch, disappeared from Karachi’s Maripur area. The latest act of brutality highlights an ongoing pattern of repression marked by increased enforced disappearances, killings, and torture across the province.

Zareef Baloch’s bullet-riddled body was found in the Kech district’s Banok-e-Chadi area, the rights body stated on November 19. “On March 31, 2025, Zareef Baloch, son of Lal Bakhsh, resident of the Balor Kulowa area in Kech district, was forcibly disappeared from Ormara with his relative Rahm Dil, son of Haider. Rahm Dil was released after a day. Both are working as labourers in a general store,” as reported by Paank.

Pakistani Army’s Act Of Brutality Leaves Balochistan’s Streets Empty

Meanwhile, The Balochistan Post earlier reported that road closures, curfews, and consistent internet blackouts have severely impacted parts of Balochistan. Hundreds of families across multiple districts are forced to flee their homes in fear as the streets are left deserted.

Citing locals, the report mentioned that no one steps out after 5 p.m., alleging that Pakistani armed forces open fire at any suspect seen on the streets. “Everything in our home has been taken. Utensils, blankets, even livestock are being slaughtered,” Balochistan Post quoted a resident as saying.
