November 5, 2025 33 Views0

Millions of farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the 21st installment under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ Yojana. Earlier, there were speculations that the Rs 2000 financial aid would likely be credited by November 6, ahead of the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections 2025. However, with just two days left, reports indicate that the money will be released into the eligible farmers’ accounts before the poll results on November 14, 2025.

Here’s Why PM Kisan 21st Installment May Be Delayed

There is no official confirmation by the government yet. The PM Kisan scheme guarantees farmers a minimum annual income of approximately Rs 6,000. This income is disbursed to farmers in three equal installments. Beneficiaries must complete e-KYC verification, land verification, and check that their bank account is DBT-enabled to receive the money under the income support scheme on time.

Complete E-KYC To Receive Money

E-KYC is MANDATORY for all registered Farmers. For OTP based eKYC, farmers can visit the official PM Kisan portal, while for biometric-based eKYC, they must visit the nearest CSC centers. Farmers can check their eligibility status on the Know Your Status (KYS) of PM KISAN website/ mobile app or Kisan eMitra chatbot for further details.
