Sunny Deol treated fans with a special announcement on his 68th birthday, unveiling his upcoming project Gabru along with the film’s first look. Written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar, the movie carries the tagline: “Power isn’t what you show – it’s what you do.”
Sharing the news on Instagram, Sunny wrote, “Power isn’t what you show, it’s what you do! Thank you everyone for your love and blessings. Here’s something for you all who have been waiting #Gabru IN CINEMAS 13th March 2026 — a story of courage, conscience, and compassion. From my heart… to the world!”
Produced by Om Chhangani and Vishal Rana, the film is slated for a March 13, 2026 theatrical release. Music is composed by Mithoon with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri, promising a blend of emotional depth and impactful storytelling.
Sunny Deol’s Upcoming Slate
Sunny has a packed 2026 ahead. He will next be seen in Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and co-starring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, releasing on January 22, 2026. Following that, he will star in Ramayana Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, set for a Diwali release.
The actor also has Lahore 1947 by Rajkumar Santoshi and Jaat 2, the sequel to his hit film Jaat, in the pipeline. Additionally, Sunny is set to reunite with fans in Apne 2.
