Nayanthara has established herself as one of the most versatile stars in the Tamil film industry. She has now completed 22 years in the industry and thanked her fans for their love and support. The actress also penned a heartfelt note on Instagram, expressing her gratitude and calling movies ‘the love of her life.’

Expressing her gratitude towards her fans on completing 22 years in the industry, Nayanthara wrote on Instagram, “22 years since I first stood in front of the camera, not knowing movies would become the love of my life. Every shot, every frame, every silence… shaped me, healed me, and made me who I am. FOREVER GRATEFUL.”

Nayanthara was earlier involved in a controversy with Dhanush due to her documentary. While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, she said, “It was never meant to be a controversy, and it was never meant to be put out at that particular time when we were about to release the (Netflix) film.”

“The only thing we wanted in the film was those four lines. They meant a lot to us, as they summed up our life, our love, our kids. It was very personal. We genuinely thought Dhanush, being a friend, would be the first person to agree to it. But when that didn’t happen, we were okay with not using the lines. We didn’t get the NOC. We moved past that,” she added.

On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in the movie ‘Test’, streaming on Netflix. The movie also starred R Madhavan and Siddharth. According to Netflix, the official synopsis of ‘Test’ reads, “The worlds of three ordinary people converge during a historic cricket match, ultimately forcing them to make life-altering decisions.”

She will also appear in the film ‘Hi’ alongside Kavin.
