Bhuvan Bam, one of the most popular YouTubers in India, is all set to make his film debut with Dharma Productions. Karan Johar, while speaking to comedian Zarna Garg, accidentally revealed this big news and praised the YouTuber-actor.
While confirming the news of Bhuvan doing a Dharma film, Karan revealed, “He’s been one of the biggest YouTubers and now he’s doing a film for us as the lead actor.”
As per reports, Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen opposite Bhuvan. Details about the project have been kept under wraps.
On the work front, Bhuvam will next star in the web series ‘The Revolutionaries’ alongside Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah. The series will release on Prime Video in 2026.
According to Prime Video, the description reads, “The Revolutionaries tells the powerful story of brave young Indian freedom fighters who believed that armed resistance was not just vital but indispensable to ending the British Raj. The series is a stirring tribute to their extraordinary lives, sacrifices, and their unwavering, undying love for their country.”
Talking about the series, Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video, India, said in a statement, “‘The Revolutionaries’ is an ambitious and deeply meaningful project for us, and we are delighted to once again join forces with our long-time collaborator Nikkhil Advani and the talented team at Emmay Entertainment.”
‘The Revolutionaries’ is backed by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
Talking about Bhuvan’s journey in the showbiz, he became popular by releasing comedy videos on YouTube. He created different characters in his comedy sketches and later released a web series as well, where he played most of the characters.
