‘I Don’t Care’: Donald Trump Launches Fresh Attack On India-Russia, Calls Their Economies ‘Dead’

US President Donald Trump  launched a scathing attack targeting India’s trade ties with Russia. In a statement, Trump called the economies of both countries ‘dead’ and said that he doesn’t care what New Delhi does with Russia. His remarks came after he announced a 25% tariff on imports from India and a penalty on the purchase of Russian oil, starting August 1. However, he later shifted his tone, noting that Washington is negotiating with India right now.

Trump Calls India-Russia Economies ‘Dead’

Trump took to his Truth Social account, stating, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care. We have done very little business with India; their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the World. Likewise, Russia and the USA do almost no business together. Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev, the failed former President of Russia, who thinks he’s still President, to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory!”

US Deal With Pakistan

Hours after his outburst and the imposition of tariffs, Trump announced that he had just concluded a trade deal with Pakistan. Sharing details of the White House’s striking agreement with Islamabad, he noted that both countries are set to work together to develop oil reserves in Pakistan.

He even floated the idea that the terror-harboring country might one day sell oil to New Delhi. He wrote, “We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves. We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling Oil to New Delhi someday!”
