The Revolutionaries First Look Out: Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf And More Team Up For Prime Video’s Series

The younger generation of talented Bollywood actors Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah are all set to team up in the new series ‘The Revolutionaries’. The series will tell a different or lesser-known story about how India got its freedom. It will be released on Prime Video in 2026.

Sharing the announcement video, Prime Video India wrote, “Make way for the REVOLUTIONARIES. Coming in 2026, here is the first look for #TheRevolutionariesOnPrime.”

According to Prime Video, the description reads, “The Revolutionaries tells the powerful story of brave young Indian freedom fighters who believed that armed resistance was not just vital but indispensable to ending the British Raj. The series is a stirring tribute to their extraordinary lives, sacrifices, and their unwavering, undying love for their country.”

The series is being filmed in Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, Dehradun and other locations across India.

Talking about the series, Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video, India, said in a statement, “‘The Revolutionaries’ is an ambitious and deeply meaningful project for us, and we are delighted to once again join forces with our long-time collaborator Nikkhil Advani and the talented team at Emmay Entertainment.”

He further said, “With Nikkhil’s creative vision at the helm, and Bhuvan, Rohit, Pratibha and Gurfateh bringing powerful characters to life, we are confident in our ability to authentically portray the spirit of the era and honour this inspiring chapter in India’s history.”

Director Nikkhil Advani said, “For me, ‘The Revolutionaries’ is a deeply enriching and enlightening experience. Sanjeev Sanyal’s powerful book has given us a compelling foundation to tell the untold stories of these extraordinary young patriots.”

‘The Revolutionaries’ is backed by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
