Content creator and The Traitors contestant Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, is making waves once again and this time, for her possible entry into Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19. Apoorva has reacted to speculations of her being approached for the reality show. She also addressed her infamous fallout with Uorfi Javed on the show The Traitors.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, when asked about joining Bigg Boss 19, Apoorva didn’t deny the buzz. She candidly shared that while the offer is on the table, the emotional toll of a show like BB is no joke.
In her words, “Yes. I mean, I always say ki never say never. So I would never say do something. But I think just captive reality as a space is very anxiety-inducing, and as a person who already overthinks a lot and has anxiety, it’s just tough space to be in.”
She added “But ab paise se kya hai upar duniya mein? Ab paisa hoga toh karlenge. Dekhte hai.”
Apoorva and Uorfi’s explosive clash during the finale of The Traitors had the internet buzzing, and the drama continued online with both taking digs at each other. Now, when asked what she thinks of Uorfi, Apoorva cheekily said “I have spoken about her in my story time, and I cannot give her more footage.”
Apoorva recently cleared the air about viral online reports claiming her net worth is a staggering Rs 41 crore.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Apoorva laughed off the claims, saying, “I am everywhere but my net worth is not even close to 41 crore. I’m not even making one-tenth of that.” She added that even her mother was confused by the reports. “My mom sent me a screenshot and asked, ‘Kaha hai ye saare paise? Kyu nahi hum ghar khareed paa rahe hai?’ (Where is all this money? Why aren’t we able to buy a house then?) I asked her if she’s okay. Nahi hai humare pass itne saare paise (We don’t have so much money)” she recalled.
She also added that no brand is paying her the rates she actually quotes. “How do I care if a random publication has written 41 crore as my net worth out of nowhere. What do people think?” she joked.
Apoorva was recently seen on Karan Johar hosted reality show ‘The Traitors’. While she didn’t win, her wit and screen presence made her one of the standout contestants on the show.
Meanwhile, the upcoming season of Bigg Boss is already generating buzz. According to reports, Salman Khan is set to return as host, with teaser shoots scheduled between July 8–12. Season 19 is expected to run for a record 5.5 months, making it the longest Bigg Boss season ever.
