Here is a heads-up for Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card users. The bank has announced a series of important changes for its credit card customers. It will discontinue the Myntra Kotak Credit Card from July 10, 2025. These updates may impact how users manage their transactions, rewards, and overall card usage. As part of the process, all existing Myntra Kotak Credit Card users will be automatically migrated to the Kotak League Platinum Credit Card. The move is part of Kotak Bank’s broader strategy to consolidate its credit card offerings and streamline its rewards system.

Kotak League Platinum Credit Card

Kotak League Platinum Credit Card is placed as a premium lifestyle credit card, which will have a wider applicability and higher reward potential. However, On the other hand, it is the responsibility of Kotak credit card holders to use their cards wisely. They should avoid overspending and make sure their credit usage stays below 30% of their total credit limit. This helps maintain financial discipline and keeps their credit score healthy.

Changes From July 1

According to Kotak Bank’s updated terms, which came into effect on June 1, 2025, certain types of spending will no longer earn reward points. These include utility bill payments, fuel purchases above ₹4,000 per billing cycle, wallet reloads, education-related payments, and online gaming transactions. This change means cardholders will need to be more mindful of where they spend if they want to continue earning rewards. The policy will apply to both existing along with new and upcoming Kotak Bank credit cards.

Key Features

The Kotak League Platinum Credit Card offers a range of benefits tailored for regular spenders. According to Kotak Mahindra Bank’s official website, Cardholders earn 8 reward points for every ₹150 spent on general purchases. A 1% fuel surcharge waiver is available, with savings of up to ₹3,500 per year. Additionally, there is a railway surcharge waiver of up to ₹500 annually. As a milestone benefit, customers who spend ₹1.25 lakh within six months can choose between 4 PVR movie tickets or 10,000 reward points. For those opting for the fee-based variant, a welcome bonus of 5,000 reward points- equivalent to ₹500- is also offered.
