The buzz that Sreeleela plans to shift base from Hyderabad to Mumbai is not erroneous. The dancing star who has all of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in a thrall with her electrifying dance moves, is being offered huge amounts of money to be part of Hindi films.

Although her Bollywood debut, a Kartik Aaryan helmed love story where Sreeleela has a substantial role, and no dancing, did not get her a staggering remuneration (it fetched her around 3.5 crores), her presence in the untitled film has the Hindi film industry buzzing about her versatility.

David Dhawan, who was to launch Sreeleela in a comedy with his son Varun Dhawan, says he is still interested in working with her. “I am only hearing good things about her. So what if things didn’t work out the first time? There will be other opportunities to work with her. She is here to stay.”

Anurag Basu, who is directing Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela currently in an untitled project, is already in the process of locking in the pair for his next project. According to Basu, Kartik and Sreeleela, “look made for each other”.

But there is a change in Sreeleela’s remuneration. She is apparently asking for 6–7 crores before saying yes to her next Hindi project.
