Rishabh Pant was seen frustrated at the umpire during Day 3 of the first Test match at Leeds against England. It was discovered that Pant went to the umpire to show him the condition of the ball. It was then decided by the umpire that the time for the new ball had not come yet. Being the vice captain for the side, Pant took the ball, but after the denial of the new ball availability by the on-ground umpire, Paul Reiffel, Pant threw the ball on the ground in frustration, and the incident was caught on camera. The crowd at Leeds also booed Pant for his aggression with the umpire.
