US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he helped broker a ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor and that he should get a ‘Nobel Peace Prize’ for it. His statement comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that India would never accept mediation. Trump took to his ‘Truth Social’ account on Saturday, listing other achievements like the Abraham Accords and the peace treaty between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Rwanda.

Pakistan Nominates Trump For 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

He announced on the micro-blogging platform X that he, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, had achieved a wonderful Treaty between Rwanda and Congo. This comes after Pakistan formally decided to recommend Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. They nominated him, citing his “decisive diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership” during Operation Sindoor.

Trump Says, “I Won’t Get A Nobel Peace Prize For…”

According to Trump, he should have been given 4-5 Nobel Peace Prize by now. He wrote, “Representatives from Rwanda and the Congo will be in Washington on Monday to sign Documents. This is a Great Day for Africa and, quite frankly, a Great Day for the World! I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for this, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River), and I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in “The Ages!” No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!”

India has dismissed Trump’s de-escalation claims on the India-Pakistan conflict numerous times. The US President has long claimed that he helped broker a ceasefire between the two nuclear powers during Operation Sindoor.
