Russian President Vladimir Putin  asserted that he is in touch with US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the Israel-Iran conflict. He expressed intention to support Tehran’s peaceful nuclear development while addressing security concerns of Tel Aviv. Putin firmly stated that there is a possibility of a deal to end the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

Putin has corroborated Russia’s readiness to mediate a dialogue between Iran and Israel. State media outlet TASS reported a statement from the Kremlin, which stated that Putin has confirmed Russia’s willingness to mediate during a phone call with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia’s readiness to provide mediation assistance in promoting dialogue between the parties to the conflict, informing about contacts with a number of foreign leaders in this regard,” the Kremlin statement read.

Earlier, during a meeting with heads of global news agencies in St. Petersburg, Putin informed that Russia has engaged in detailed discussions on this issue with both Israeli and US officials, and has communicated proposals to its Iranian counterparts

Iran Attacks Soroka Hospital

Meanwhile, Israel Foreign Ministry on Thursday, stated that Soroka Hospital in Beersheba was hit by an indiscriminate Iranian ballistic missile.

The Ministry wrote on X, “Soroka Hospital in Beersheba – where Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Arab Bedouin receive care – was just hit by an indiscriminate Iranian ballistic missile. Israel will continue to do what must be done to protect all its people, from all walks of life.”

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also addressed the attack by Iran, stating that Israel will exact the full price for this.

He wrote on X, “This morning, Iran’s terrorist tyrants launched missiles at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and at a civilian population in the center of the country. We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran.”
