Unfortunately, it is now being reported that WWE Superstar Liv Morgan has indeed suffered a shoulder injury in the process of her match against Kairi Sane in the latest go of Raw. The sources suggest that she will need urgent surgery, and her estimated recovery period will be within the next six months. Morgan is portrayed as the girlfriend of Dominic Mysterio in the WWE television, which the two created after SummerSlam in 2024 and had received considerable praise over their relationship. The looming loss of Morgan questions their duo, a fact that is sure to elicit dissatisfaction among the fan base. This means, however, that we will put forward three potential nominees to be the new love interest of the returning Mysterio within the WWE itself.
Roxanne Perez
Having also been recently promoted to the main roster, Roxanne Perez has already established herself. As already stated, Finn Balor has specifically established that she has currently joined Judgment Day. However, neither Raquel Rodriguez nor Liv Morgan seems to be her welcoming partner. Earlier Morgan had gone to take a break with WWE due to a film work. During her absence Dominic Mysterio and Perez grew closer and closer. Perez also went out of her ways to win over the affection of Mysterio.
The two have been motivated into this relations by Balor himself and have seen him go behind the scene supporting them both. In case Morgan ends up on the sidelines, Perez could spend some time in the spotlight: she may become the new love interest of Mysterio, and WWE can easily turn this plot complication into a full-fledged conflict.
Raquel Rodriguez
Raquel Rodriguez also needs to be included into this elite group. The actor is popularly viewed as a tough contender in WWE. At such formidable height and physical strength, this strong female has competed in the Women Tag Team Championship and the NXT Women Championship. Her established relationship with Dominik Mysterio has also been clear and the two have openly shown each other love in many occasions.
The live roster has also been deprived of the presence of Liv Morgan, and therefore, a romantic story between Raquel and Dominik has been an option as well. It could be possible that WWE will introduce the two to the screen as onscreen couple. Considering that Dominik used to take the side of strong people, especially Rhea Ripley, their union would not be a surprising phenomenon.
Stephanie Waker
Stephanie Waker was first present in NXT this past year. She managed to win NXT Women Championship and the NXT Women North American Championship during that period. The company promoted her to red brand since her performances were simply captivating. WWE has proposed that Waker will be a future star. There still has been no on-screen communication between Dominic Mysterio and Waker, however, she would be the most fantastic suggestion as the girlfriend of Mysterio.
Bring in Waker into another plot with Mysterio may enhance the interest of the audiences. Stephanie might be threatened when Morgan returns.
