Deepika Padukone has teamed up with superstar Allu Arjun and filmmaker Atlee for an exciting project. Currently titled ‘AA22 x A6’, the makers welcomed the actress with an announcement video. This also marks Deepika’s first project after welcoming her daughter, Dua. The announcement comes amid Deepika’s alleged feud with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
In the video, Deepika is seen with Atlee as they seemed to be discussing the scenes.
This is Deepika Padukone’s second Telugu film as she made her debut with Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika was reportedly roped in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Spirit’ but was replaced by Triptii Dimri. The filmmaker later shared a cryptic post on X in which he talked about an actor playing dirty PR games and putting down a younger actor. Netizens think that Sandeep directed this post to Deepika Padukone.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote on X, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are…. Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for ? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it. Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames I like this kahawath very much खुंदक में बिल्ली खंबा नोचे !”
This post comes after it was reported that Deepika left Spirit due to some bold scenes in the film. The report by Pinkvilla stated, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress, who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Tripti.”
As of now, Deepika Padukone will also work in King with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan.
