Veteran Tamil actor Rajesh passed away on May 29 at the age of 75. According to reports, he complained of low blood pressure in the morning but he passed away on his way to the hospital. The news of his demise was confirmed by his nephew.

The late actor worked in over 150 films in his career. He began his acting career in 1974 with the film ‘Aval Oru Thodar Kathai’. He worked in several films like Kanni Paruvathile, Andha 7 Naatkal, Thanikattu Raja, Payanangal Mudivathillai, Metti, Anal Kaatru, Thai Veedu, Oru Indhiya Kanavu, Simma Soppanam, Sirai, Manakanakku, Ilangeswaran, Sathya, Vaathiyaar Veettu Pillai, Dheena, and many more.

Actress Radhikaa Sarathkumar expressed her shock and grief on the demise of Rajesh. She wrote, “Deeply shocked and sudden to hear of #rajesh s unexpected demise. Shared so many movies together and had a deep respect to his wide knowledge of cinema and life, will be missed by family, friends and film fraternity. #RIP”

His last film was Merry Christmas with Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi.
