Tamannaah Bhatia has officially joined the star cast of supernatural drama ‘Vvan’, which will reportedly showcase a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. The movie also stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. The makers dropped an exciting video to announce Tamannaah’s casting in Vvan but the teaser has received mixed response from the audience due to the alleged use of AI.
Announcing the news, the makers wrote, “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forrest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before. In the teaser, a woman, draped in red saree, is seen walking in the jungle. Even though the video looks intriguing and sparked curiousity, netizens were quick to notice the use of AI and criticised it.
Vvan will be directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, who are known for their work for TVF such as Panchayat, Permanent Roommates and many more. The movie will hit the theatres in 2026.
This marks the first collaboration between Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra.
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was recently seen in Odela 2 but the movie did not work well at the box office. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Yodha and will next star in Param Sundari with Janhvi Kapoor.
