Sunny Deol returned to the big screens with his latest mass commercial ‘Jaat’ and this was also his first release after the success of Gadar 2. After receiving good response from the audience for Jaat, the actor has now officially announced its sequel. Not much has been revealed about Jaat 2 as of now.

Announcing the movie, Sunny Deol wrote, “#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2.”

In an earlier interview with Zoom, Sunny Deol talked about the dialogue ‘Yeh dhaai kilo ke haath ki taakat toh pura North dekh chuka hai, ab south dekhega’ in Jaat. He said, “It’s a North film and a South film, wherever the fans are. I mean, South me bhi fan hai, unke ke liye mai aaya hu. Pehle North me bhi tha. That’s all it is.”

He added, “You see love everywhere, you cannot deny that. It’s the kind of characters that my dad played, it’s who we are… And Jaat doesn’t mean Jatt or Jaat. It represents all the farmers. All our farmers are like that, their thinking, the way their blood boils, the hard work they put in, the way they bear their burdens in silence and do everything.”

The movie also stars Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, Bandhavi Sridhar, Vishika Kota, Praneeta Patnaik, Doulath Sulthana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ajay Ghosh, Dayanand Shetty, Jagapati Babu and Babloo Prithiveeraj.

Jaat is directed by Gopichand Malineni and its music is composed by Thaman S. The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers & TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory.
