No Toll Hike On Pune-Mumbai Expressway Until 2030: MSRDC Ensures Stable Rates For Commuters

international media news
March 21, 2025 45 Views0

Travelers will get toll fee relief because the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) declared toll rates will stay unchanged up to April 30, 2030.

As a self-governed toll operation since April 1 2005 the Pune-Mumbai Expressway maintains independent tolling authority from the toll rises that NHAI manages on its national highways. MSRDC officials declared that the last toll revision of April 1st 2023 established fixed rates that will be maintained through April 30th 2030 according to their officials.

Thousands of people who commute daily and those who use the expressway for transportation alongside tourists obtain benefits due to the toll rate remaining unchanged until April 2030. Affordable connectivity between Pune and Mumbai becomes possible because stable toll rates create financial and economic benefits for users.

The toll structure will stay unchanged according to the long-term agreement that MSRDC established during 2005. People who commute through this route acknowledge that the fixed toll decision brings positive financial effects on their travel costs.
