Veteran Tamil Actress Bindu Ghosh Passes Away At 76

Veteran Tamil actor Bindu Ghosh passes away on Sunday at the age of 76. According to reports, she was struggling with health issues from past few years. She was well known for her comedy roles in the movies and worked with several popular actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan and more.

The news of her demise was confirmed by her sons. She was reportedly undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai. In some interviews, she had opened up about her financial crisis and also revealed that her elder son left her as he could not take care of her. Actor Bala gave her Rs 80,000 for medical expenses and actors Richard and Ramalingam had also extended financial help.

On the work front, Bindu worked several renowned actors including Prabhu, Sivaji Ganesan, Mohan and many more. Her notable work includes Navagraha Nayagi, Osai, Soorakottai Singakutti, Thoongathey Thambi Thoongathey, Kozhi Koovuthu, Uruvangal Maralam, Komberi Mookkan and Needhiyin Nizhal.

She was last seen in the Telugu movie ‘Chitram Bhalare Vichitram’ in 1992.
