Sonakshi Sinha has established herself as a versatile actor with her different performances in several projects. She is all set to step into the Telugu cinema with the movie ‘Jatadhara’ and has unveiled her first look from the film on the special occasion of International Women’s Day 2025. She looks completely unrecognisable in an intense avatar in the first poster of Jatadhara.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “This Women’s day a beacon of strength and power rises in #Jatadhara!”

The movie also stars Sudheer Babu in the lead role. Directed by Venkat Kalyan, Jatadhara is backed by Zee Studios’ Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the web series ‘Heeramandi’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The show also stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta and Taha Shah Badussha. Heeramandi has also been renewed for its second season but the details about its cast have not been unveiled.

Sonakshi was earlier in the news because of her wedding with actor Zaheer Iqbal. Sharing the pictures of their wedding, the couple wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi & Zaheer 23.06.2024.”
