Startup Funding Rises Over $1 Billion In January -February, Companies Floated By Larger Groups Tap PE-VC Investors

Traction from Private Equity has become the undercurrent leading the Growth of Pe -Stage companies – Venture Capital Investors. The early trend, that would continue for the CY 2025, reflects a shift to mitigate risk amid market Uncertainties. 

As per the data that has been released by the research firm Venture intelligence, estimates, the Growth -PE stage companies have been able to double their PE-VC investments to nearly 1.1 billion in January and February of Cy 2025.  This data showcases the expanse of the shift, the numbers have been through since the last year when the recorded figure was around $594 Million. The PE investments exclude those from the real estate sectors.

The numbers have showcased a pick up in the PE-VC investments in the mature startups, and companies that are enjoying buoyancy aided by larger groups that have chosen to tap the PE-VC investors for Growth capital. Startups such as Infra. Market, leap Finance, captain Fresh, and Neuberg Diagnostics are a few examples of similar prospects. These are prime examples of larger business groups partnering Pe Investors for Growth Capital. 

The growth -PE segment comprises seed to series D Investments that cost above $20 million into companies that are less than 10 years old or Series E to Series F of Institutional Investments into firms that are not than a decade old.
