Leading publications recently reported that actress Avika Gor is being considered for the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s much-anticipated supernatural thriller, Naagin 7. However, these reports appear to be untrue.
In an exclusive conversation with News24, Avika clarified, “No one has approached me. I’m not doing Naagin 7.” Her statement puts an end to the ongoing speculations about her association with the show.
When asked if she would consider taking on the role if offered, Avika responded, “I have too many prior commitments right now. It won’t be possible.”
Naagin Franchise And Its Legacy
Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin series has been one of the most successful supernatural shows on Indian television. Since its launch in 2015, each season has introduced a new lead actress, with stars like Mouni Roy, Surbhi Jyoti, Nia Sharma, and Tejasswi Prakash playing the iconic shape-shifting serpent.
While other names, including Isha Malviya and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, were also linked to Naagin 7, recent reports suggested that Avika Gor had emerged as the top contender.
