Mawra Hocane is over the moon with the success of her 9-year-old film Sanam Teri Kasam following its re-release. The actress, who is also celebrating her recent wedding, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the film’s impressive box office performance.
Mawra ‘Faints’ Over Surprising Numbers
Posting a carousel of videos from Sanam Teri Kasam, Mawra couldn’t hide her excitement, writing, “Not me fainting to the numbers STK re-release is doing MashAllah… absolutely magical! STK re-releasing is a testament to the fact that ‘waqt se pehle or naseeb se zyaada nahi mil sakta’. I’m so grateful for all the love you’ve shown over the last three weeks. It’s unheard of… they’re saying we’ve made history.”
Mawra credited the success to the hard work of the film’s producer, Deepak Mukut. She said, “So happy for my producer @deepakmukut ji. You’ve always faced failure with a smile, and your perseverance has paid off. This success is a result of your patience and good heart!” She also praised the directors and the cast, referring to them as “insanely awesome humans” and “so hardworking.” Mawra sent a special shout-out to her two mentors, Vinay sir and Radhika Ma’am, wishing them continued success.
Mawra Calls Harshvardhan Rane ‘Lucky’
Although Mawra is not currently in India to witness the excitement firsthand, she referred to her co-star, Harshvardhan Rane, as “lucky” for being in the midst of all the action. She wrote, “Harsh, so lucky that you get to be in the middle of it all… I hope you’re soaking it in on my behalf too, to many more InshaAllah.”
Mawra concluded her heartfelt message by sharing her favourite shots from the film, expressing love for her co-stars, and thanking her on-set team. She also recognised the efforts of Sanam Teri Kasam’s creative team, including stylist Rushi Manoshi and set pillar Eshi. “Kaleem sir & Sameera Aunty, the two angels who loved me like their own! Lots of love to everyone,” Mawra wrote.
Mawra’s emotional reaction highlights not only the success of the re-release but also the close-knit team that helped bring Sanam Teri Kasam back into the limelight.
