The film revolves around Subramanyam, or Subbu (played by Nani), an ambitious IIM graduate focused on climbing the corporate ladder. He works under a tough businessman, Pasupathi, and helps him acquire a rival company. As a reward, Subbu gets engaged to Pasupathi’s daughter, Rhea.
Subbu’s life takes an unexpected turn when his carefree childhood friend, Rishi (Vijay Deverakonda), returns from abroad. Unlike Subbu, Rishi dreams of visiting Doodh Kasi, a remote location with a spiritual significance. While Subbu remains absorbed in his professional goals, he develops a bond with Anandi (Malvika Nair), whose father holds vital shares in a company that Subbu is pursuing.
After a tragic accident involving Rishi, Subbu honours his friend’s last wish and embarks on a transformative journey to Doodh Kasi with Anandi. During the journey, Subbu begins to question his life choices, realising the emptiness of chasing ambition. As he reconnects with Anandi, love blossoms between them, leading to a change in Subbu’s priorities. He calls off his engagement, returns the company shares, and starts afresh, choosing love over his previous ambitions.
