Former Australia captain Michael Clarke has predicted his top 4 teams i.e. the semi finalists for the Champions Trophy that is scheduled to take place from 19 February to 9 March. Clarke is confident that India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand will go into the semi finals on his YouTube channel Beyond23 Sports Podcast. The Champions Trophy will be taking place with a hybrid model where matches will be played in Pakistan and Dubai.

“India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand—these are the teams I’ve got in my top four,” Clarke predicted.

Pakistan Unable To Perform Under Pressure

He stated that Pakistan will get the advantage of the Homeground while, Australia and India’s historic rivalries as the key factors for this inclusion in the top 4. He also spoke about his concern over the Men in Green’s ability to perform under pressure. India and Pakistan matches have been one of the most intense battles in not just criketing world but also the whole sports fraternity. Millions and Millions of spectators watch out for the matches and an abundance of revenue is generated during these matches.

“I think India is going to beat Australia in the final. I can’t believe that just came out of my mouth,” he said.

Player Of The Match, Highest Wicket Taker, Highest Runs Scorer

According to Clarke there is certainty that Rohit Sharma will surpass all other batters in this tournament. Clarke takes delight from Rohit’s good batting form as the Indian cricket team requires his exceptional batting capabilities. This tournament will be his. Jofra Archer stands as the contender to take the most wickets in the Champions Trophy even though England cricket faces an average performance according to Michael Clarke’s prediction. The legendary batsman from his team will produce exceptional batting performances according to his prediction. Travis Head received the Player of the Tournament award because of his strong performance in this tournament according to Clarke. According to Clarke Australia will play in the final match of the tournament but will not claim victory.
