Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, has been receiving immense love from the audience and its box office collection is also impressive. The movie revolves around Arjun, who goes on a mission to find his missing wife as she gets captured in Azerbaijan. Amid its box office success, there has been a lot of anticipation about the OTT release of Vidaamuyarchi.

Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release Update:

According to reports, Netflix has bought the OTT rights of Vidaamuyarchi. The movie is like to release on OTT in March or April 2025 as streaming window for films is usually 45 to 60 days.

Apart from Ajith Kumar, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav and Ramya Subramanian in the pivotal roles.

While speaking to OTTplay, Regina Cassandra talked about her role in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ and her experience. She said, “I think I am a versatile actor, and having done for 20 years, I know what I can, cannot do and work on. With Vidaamuyarchi, Magizh sir told me that there are scenes where people will be able to see the performer within me. In terms of layered character, I feel Vidaamuyarchi has given me that.”

“I had a lot of questions, and just knowing what I was going to be doing, the homework for character, got me excited. Magizh sir had written the character and poured in quite a bit into the role,” she added.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the movie was earlier scheduled to release on Pongal 2025 but got postponed. Its music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Om Prakash and editing done by N B Srikanth.

On the work front, Ajith will next star in ‘Good Bad Ugly’ with Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu and Shine Tom Chacko.
