The Delhi election campaign will finally come to an end as the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) comes into force after around 5 pm on Monday before Delhi goes for voting on February 5. This election, AI-generated memes, sharp political jabs, and road shows were witnessed.

According to reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has conducted around 22 roadshows and rallies in Delhi. The BJP was out of power in Delhi for the last 25 years.

However, the Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, is confident that they will again reclaim power in three consecutive years.

The Indian National Congress also worked hard to come to power in the national capital. Congress which ran the capital for 15 years till 2013, made multiple shows to regain the power.

According to the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer, 1.56 crore voters are eligible to vote across 13,766 polling stations on February 5. Among them, 83.76 lakh are men, 72.36 lakh are women, and 1,267 are third-gender voters. In an effort to make voting accessible, 733 polling stations have been set up for persons with disabilities.

Under the home voting facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities, 6,980 of the 7,553 eligible voters have already cast their ballots. This service, which began on January 24, will continue until February 4.
