Nandamuri Balakrishna has returned to the big screen with his movie ‘Daaku Maharaaj’, which has become a huge hit. The movie revolves around a daring robber, who establishes his own territory to survive and fight against the powerful adversaries. Apart from Balakrishnan, the movie also stars Bobby Deol and Urvashi Rautela in the lead roles.

According to a report by 123telugu.com, ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ will release on Netflix on February 9, 2025.

The movie also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Rishi, Chandini Chowdary, Pradeep Rawat, Sachin Khedekar, Shine Tom Chacko, Viswant Duddumpudi, Aadukalam Naren and Ravi Kishan.

While speaking to Zoom, Pragya Jaiswal talked about her experience of working with Balakrishnan and also reacted to the news of him being conferred with the Padma Bhushan. She said, “He is somebody who’s been in the industry making films for the last 50 years. Now, 50 years is a very, very long time for people to be working as the main lead hero. His audience worships him. He’s very good at what he does in his films.”

“Apart from that, he’s also a politician, MLA of a constituency. He runs a cancer hospital. He’s been doing a lot of philanthropic work. When I sometimes talk to him, I feel humne kiya kya hai to just be in this circle because he’s done so much and still continues to do so much that I feel his contributions to the art, cinema and public service are immense. It is high time for him to receive the Padma Bhushan. So well-deserved,” she added.

Daaku Maharaaj has been performing well at the box office. According to the website Sacnilk, the movie has crossed Rs 87.90 crore in total in 17 days.
