Noida International Airport: Good News! 80% Of Terminal Work Completed, Set To Open By April 2025

Noida is going to get the biggest gift this year in the form of Airport. The Noida International Airport will be operational to people by April, 2025. This will give boost to economy of the state.

This project will benefit the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. Once the airport gets operational then people will board flight from Noida instead of going to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

It will save time of commuters. According to Noida International Airport Limited, around 80% work on the construction of terminal has been completed, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Under this comes the work on baggage handling system, flooring work and work on escalators, as per media reports. The work on the air traffic control tower has been finished, said officials.

As quoted by Hindustan Times, the Nodal officer of Noida International Airport Limited, Shailendra Bhatia stated that, ““Crucial infrastructure works such as drinking water lines, sewage treatment plants (STPs), and water treatment plants (WTPs) are about to get completed. Landside and airside developments are also advancing and landside work, including terminals, access roads, parking facilities, and public transport connections, is 79% complete. On the airside, which includes runways, taxiways, and aprons, 89% of the work has been completed.”
