Jisoo has officially announced her new solo project after taking a break as a K-pop idol. She shifted her focus on acting but fans are now delighted to see Jisoo’s new project. She shared a teaser on her Instagram and also announced the release date. The teaser has now created speculations if the video is related to her upcoming song or any show.

Sharing the teaser, Jisoo wrote, “2025.02.14 COMING SOON.”

Not much has been revealed about this project but it will be associated with Jisoo’s solo label Blissoo. The project will release on February 14, 2025, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.

Jisoo made her solo debut with the song ‘Flower’, released in 2023. Other members of Blackpink also later shifted their focus to their solo albums and songs. It was earlier revealed that BLACKPINK will make its most awaited comeback in 2025. Jisoo and other members of the band, Lisa, Jennie and Rose, will team up for the new song or album.

On the work front, Jisoo has some exciting acting projects lined up as well. She will be seen in the K-drama ‘Newtopia’, also starring Park Jeong Min in the lead role. The show is based on the novel called ‘Influenza’ by Han Sang-woon. According to reports, ‘Newtopia’ will focus on a couple, who get stuck into a zombie outbreak amid dealing with their breakup. It will release on Prime Video on February 7, 2025.

She will also make her movie debut with ‘The Prophet’, based on ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’. Apart from Jisoo, the movie also stars Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, Park Ho San, and Choi Young Joon in the lead roles. The web novel revolves around a young man, who has a passion for reading and his favourite novel is ‘Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World’. Things take a turn when the events of the novel start unfolding in real life and he uses his knowledge of the story to survive in the world.
