‘Paatal Lok’ is gearing up for the release of its second season and the makers have finally unveiled its most awaited teaser. Jaideep Ahlawat will reprise his role of Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary from the previous season and has created hype for the show in its new teaser.

‘Paatal Lok Season 2’ will release on Prime Video on January 17, 2025.
The teaser does not disclose many details about the plot of ‘Paatal Lok Season 2’ but warns the audience about its thrilling story.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, director Avinash Arun talked about ‘Paatal Lok Season 2’. He said, “It is coming out very well. I am extremely excited. I cannot disclose anything, but I am hooked and I am surprised. After reading Pataal Lok 2, I was like ‘this is like another beast’. It will come out sometime next year. And, this season I was directing the show all by myself and I was not even sure about that. Those pressures are different. But then after seeing the first cut, I am amazed.”
Its first season also starred Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Abhishek Banerjee, Niharika Lyra Dutt, and Richa Chaturvedi. It is loosely based on Tarun Tejpal’s 2010 novel The Story of My Assassins.
Gul Panag and Ishwak Singh will also be seen in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Tilotama Shome is the new addition to the show.
The first season of ‘Paatal Lok’ was well-praised by both the audience and critics. It won five Filmfare OTT Awards including Best Actor, Best Series, Best Original Story, Best Screenplay and Best Direction. It is produced by Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Ssharma under their banner Clean Slate Filmz.
