Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: Three Floored Station Nearing Completion In Surat-Check Details

The work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project is going in a good pace. Under this comes construction of several things.

In this project bridges will be made on 13 rivers and many state highways. Under this project several railway lines will be passed by 7 steel and prestressed concrete bridges. The work on the construction of Bullet train station is done at a good pace in Surat.

Details regarding the work going on has been shared by the Indian Railways. Apart from the, information regarding the progress of the project has also been provided.

As per media reports, 352-Kilometers of ghat work and 362-Kilometers of ghat foundation work has been finished. The construction of Track is going on at a fast pace in Gujarat. Several works like RC track bed work is being done at Anand, Surat, Navsari and Vadodra. Around 71-Kilometers of the RC track work has been finished.

The first concrete base slab for the Mumbai bullet train in Maharashtra has been successfully poured at a depth of 32-meters. The station is like a 10-storey building. The work at the three-storey platform in Surat is nearing completion.

The construction work has started on the 21-Km tunnel between BKC and Shilpata. As per the railway review, the corridors will have 12 stations. Each of them will have unique theme.

About The Project

The National High Speed Rail Corporation has been given the charge of this project. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.08 lakh crore. The maximum speed the bullet train will go is 350 Km/h. The train will complete the journey from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in less than three-hours. The Central government wants to begin this project in 2026, as per media reports.
