Brock Lesnar shocked the WWE Universe three weeks back when he came down to the ring after the end of the main event match between Roman Reigns and Riddle. The title match between the two ended early and there were hopes of a superstar returning at the end of the show.
Lesnar entered the ring and trumped the Head of the Table by hitting him with an F5. Just a few minutes after Smackdown went off the air, WWE confirmed a Last Man Standing match between them. The match will take place at SummerSlam on July 30.
For the first time since his Smackdown comeback, Lesnar will be part of a WWE event as he has been advertised for next week’s Raw. WWE has confirmed that the former Universal champion will be on Raw on July 11 which takes place in San Antonio, Texas.
This will be his first Raw appearance since March 2022. Lesnar last appeared on the show at the final Raw before Wrestlemania 38. He has only made one TV appearance since then. Roman Reigns isn’t advertised for Raw and he won’t be there.
But Paul Heyman and The Usos might be part of the segment involving Lesnar. The former WWE Champion isn’t advertised for the Raw which takes place at the Madison Square Garden on July 25. After next week’s Raw, he is scheduled to appear on the last two Smackdowns before SummerSlam 2022.
Apart from Lesnar’s comeback, WWE has announced that Riddle and Theory will square off in a one-on-one match. Newly-crowned United States Champion Bobby Lashley will also be in action and will defend his United States Championship in an Open Challenge.
